## Why Melt?

### Expanding Financial Primitives

Hyperliquid excels in perpetual futures. Melt introduces spot assets, enabling users to hold assets without expiration dates or funding rates. This unlocks wealth preservation, portfolio diversification, and long-term accumulation strategies.

### Unified Market Access

Fragmented liquidity across chains forces users to manage multiple wallets and interfaces. Melt consolidates access into a single composable layer on HyperCore, providing portfolio management and trading from one venue.

### Permissionless Infrastructure

No KYC. No geography restrictions. Self-custodial access to global markets, equities, commodities, crypto blue chips, through non-custodial, code-based market access running 24/7/365.
