# Getting Started

> Connect your wallet and make your first trade on Melt

## Prerequisites

* A Web3 wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet), or sign in with email, Google, or X
* Funds on any deBridge-supported chain (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Solana, BSC, Polygon, and many more)

## Connect Your Wallet

    Navigate to [app.melt.finance](https://app.melt.finance)

  <Step title="Connect Wallet">
    Click **Connect Wallet** in the header. Select your wallet provider and approve the connection.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Network">
    The app supports multiple source chains. Your wallet will be prompted to switch networks as needed during transactions.

## Your First Trade

  <Step title="Choose an Asset">
    Use the token selector to browse available Melt Assets (QQQ, TSLA, GOLD, etc.).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter Amount">
    Input the amount you want to trade. The interface shows estimated output and fees.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review & Execute">
    Review the trade details including slippage and fees, then confirm the transaction in your wallet.
